The Cloud Peak Wilderness lies in the middle of the Bighorn National Forest in north-central Wyoming.

With diverse landscapes ranging from plains and high desert to snow-capped mountain peaks and gushing geysers, Wyoming is an incredibly scenic place. But, Wyoming is so much more than meets the eye. Dig a little deeper and you’ll discover fascinating history about this piece of the American West. Nearly half of the land in Wyoming is public land, providing abundant recreational opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts including backpacking, fly fishing, climbing, mountain biking, hunting, and so much more.

Wyoming is home to two iconic US national parks, Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park. Exploring the national parks is often what draws people to the state, but after visiting, they often find many more reasons to love Wyoming.
