Kanab is a small town at the base of the Escalante Grand Staircase, in Southern Utah. It’s surrounded by several world-class landscape attractions, including Zion National Park, the Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon, and the intriguingly named Toadstool Hoodoos.

When visiting Colorado, one might lean more towards visiting Rocky Mountain National Park, Mesa Verde, or the Great Sand Dunes. This over an expedition to Sterling. Thoughts on the road: Gardiner, Montana
In the past five weeks, I’ve been to Rocky Mountain National Park, Wyoming’s Lander – for the 2017 Eclipse – Grand Teton National Park, Yellowstone National Park, and have meandered the wild and wondrous Beartooth Highway, in southern Montana. So far, I’m very happy with how it’s gone. There have been some minor setbacks, but moreover, the itineraries I’ve planned have worked out well.
