Virtual Travel: 48 Places You Can Visit Right Now

We can't always just jump in the car and head out on a road-trip to our favorite National Parks. You know the feeling when life gets busy and when you are really feeling the need to take a vacation but just can't? We feel it too, and we have a little something to help you through! Here are a few places that you can visit via webcam livestreams and pano cams.

So, if you need a quick escape, check in on some of these places. It’s a great way to do a little research for your next vacation, too!

National Parks

Channel Islands National Park

Let the beautiful vibrant colors and gently-waving kelp of the Channel Islands kelp forest put you in a state of deep relaxation. This livestream also has audio so be sure to turn up the volume for some awesome underwater sounds.

Grand Teton National Park

You can always depend on the Grand Tetons for a scenic and serene view, no filter or Photoshop necessary. The Jackson Hole/GTNP area has a variety of webcams so you can check the views from multiple locations.

Yellowstone National Park

Is Old Faithful still as faithful when no one is there in person to watch it? As it turns out, it is. With this live view, you can keep tabs on it. Maybe you’ll even be lucky enough to catch it when it’s erupting. For a list of latest eruptions as well as the predicted next eruption, check here.

Yosemite National Park

While it’s not as striking as being there in person and seeing it towering above you, watching the tallest waterfall in North America on a screen is still pretty neat.

Coney Island Beach, NY

Check in on one of the most popular beaches in the New York City area.
