Whether it is by foot, boat, bike, or horseback, Sydney has always loved exploring new places and meeting new people. From her time spent working as an outdoor educator for NOLS and traveling to write stories about America’s gateway towns and scenic parks, Sydney has collected many memories, experiences, and maybe a pretty rock or two. Sydney has lived in Colorado, Wyoming, Nevada, and Vermont, enjoying everything the US has to offer, from the East Coast to the West Coast. She is now based in Missoula, Montana, with her adventure partner Kirk and their dog Otto.
